This is the earth grid point in Nininger, Minnesota. In the 1850s Ignatius Donnelly came here from Philadelphia to start a utopian community. He only talked a few friends into building and living in Nininger, near Hastings. Later he became Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, then retired to write books. His first book tried to prove that Atlantis was a real place, and his later books tried to prove that Francis Bacon wrote Shakespeare's works. Nininger has a nice feel to it this time of year, as the planting goes in. Posted by Hello
